Bud LaChapelle graduated from the University of Minnesota with dual degrees in pharmacy and business.  He began his pharmacy career with Drug Fair before moving to Maryland and eventually opening Broadneck Pharmacy in 1985.

Marcus LaChapelle graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a degree in Biological Resource Engineering before receiving his Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Maryland at Baltimore in 2007.
